Webb Industries has introduced a unique, lightweight grid antenna for point-to-point links in the wireless LAN environment.
According to Webb’s Paul Richards, the new Webb grid antenna is an exciting development for the marketplace because of its lightweight, high gain in the 5.8GHz band and its low wind loading.
“This is an exciting product as it is very easy to handle and not only does it have an exceptionally high gain but it withstands high wind velocities.”
The most important features of the Webb grid antenna are the following:
- Linear polarisation, can be rotated for horizontal or vertical polarisation
- Die cast aluminium two-piece reflector (630mm x 420mm)
- All corrosion resistant mount materials, stainless steel hardware
- Two U-bolt mount configuration, ± 60-degree elevation range and 200km/hour survival. Option one U-bolt configuration, ± 60-degree elevation range and 145km/hour survival
- Maximum input power 100W
- DC ground lightning protection
