WEBB TO DISTRIBUTE NORDIX CABLES
Webb Industries, a Jasco group company, has been appointed the southern African distributor for Nordix, one of Europe’s leading braided coaxial cable manufacturers.
Webb’s Paul Richards says this will give Webb a constant supply of quality product at the right price.
“Nordix is a high quality producer who is not only very consistent with their quality but runs an efficient business while maintaining very competitive pricing,” says Richards.
The products that Webb will be importing are the RG58, RG213, RG214, RG6, RG11 and the dual RG6 and RG11 cables. The RG6 and RG11 are used for VSAT installations.
Richards says that the Nordix cables are ideally suited to one of their recently acquired international business partners, Stirling. “Stirling “F” connectors, which are a perfect match with the Nordix product, have changed the image of the connector through developing a durable and robust product which is fitted with a specially designed compression tool making it literally impossible to pull the connector off the coaxial cable,” explained Richards.
Webb Industries, which was established in 1973, is one of the largest suppliers of ancillary telecommunications equipment to the sub-Saharan region. The company offers a comprehensive range of antennas, coaxial cable and connectors, duplexers and filters, earthing, lightning protection, fencing and the supply of masts and towers.
Webb’s employees are engaged in production, marketing and administration from its factory in Sandton, where the emphasis is on quality assurance. The company has the coveted ISO9001/2000 rating.
