UHF (Ultra High Frequency) connectors are commonly used in RF (radio frequency) applications for their versatility and ease of use. These connectors are characterised by their threaded coupling mechanism, allowing quick and secure connections without additional tools.
UHF-types of connectors are known for their comprehensive frequency range capabilities, making them suitable for low— and high-frequency applications. They are commonly used in radio and television broadcasting, as well as in amateur radio and other communication systems. Despite their name, UHF connectors are not limited to ultra-high frequencies and can be used effectively at lower frequencies.
