Description
The tuneable Elite Whip 54 … 470 MHz (EW50) assembly with its round-shaped base is a replacement part for the Elite 50 Mobile Antenna. This Whip is tuneable for frequencies ranging from 54 to 470 MHz by cutting it to a specific length according to the cutting chart in the installation guide. The Whip for the Elite 50 antenna consists of a straight non-bendable rod.
A whip antenna is a form of monopole antenna. Its name is derived from the whip-like motion that it exhibits when disturbed.
