Low Profile Nemo Antenna

Description

The Low Profile Nemo Antenna is used for marine, outdoor, indoor, and general purposes. The antenna uses the GPS band and has a frequency of 1575 MHz. It is one of three outdoor antennas that Webb can provide.

The Low Profile Nemo Antenna has the following specifications: it radiates its power equally in all directions perpendicular to its axis and has a nominal gain of 26 dBi. The antenna has a noise figure of 2 dB and a characteristic impedance of 50 Ohm. A TNC bulkhead female connector is needed for termination.

The amplifier inside the Nemo Antenna needs to be powered by a DC supply of 3 – 5 V. The antenna can withstand wind velocities of up to 220 km/h. The antenna is only available in the color white. It weighs less than 200 grams and has a temperature range of between -20 degrees Celsius and 80 degrees Celsius.

The antenna is right-hand circularly polarized, which means that the electric wave rotates clockwise in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis. Both transmitting and receiving antennae must have the same polarization so that power losses in the RF system do not occur and to ensure maximum efficiency of the RF system.
