Description
Nemo Outdoor Low Profile Antenna
The Low Profile Nemo Antenna is an omnidirectional fixed antenna designed for various applications, including marine, outdoor, indoor, and general purposes. It operates within the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Upper L-Band frequency range of 1559—1610 MHz.
This low-profile antenna radiates power equally in all directions perpendicular to its axis. It features a nominal gain of 26 dBi, a noise figure of 2 dB, and a characteristic impedance of 50 Ohms. A TNC bulkhead female connector is required for termination.
The amplifier inside the Nemo Antenna operates on a DC supply of 3 to 5 V. It can withstand wind speeds of up to 220 km/h. The antenna is only available in white, weighs less than 200 grams, and functions effectively within a temperature range of -20 to 80 degrees Celsius.
Additionally, the antenna is circularly polarized, meaning the electric wave rotates clockwise perpendicular to the optical axis. Both the transmitting and receiving antennas must have the same polarisation to maximize efficiency and minimize power loss in the RF system.
