The ZARA® 250 Mobile Antenna is a versatile 5/8 mobile antenna designed to be mounted externally on the vehicle body. It covers the frequency range from 250 MHz up to 270 MHz, without the need for tuning it. To ensure convenience, the antenna comes with a default 4 m RG-58 coaxial cable. However, if you require a different length, you can request it separately. Please note that the coax connector needs to be ordered separately as it is not included with the antenna.

When it comes to specifications, the ZARA® 250 Mobile Antenna boasts impressive features. It has a VSWR of less than 1.5:1 across a bandwidth of 3 MHz or greater, with a nominal gain of 2 dBq relative to a quarter wavelength radiator. Additionally, it has a rated power of 100 W, making it a reliable choice.

Durability is a crucial aspect of this antenna. It can withstand wind velocities of up to 220 km/h thanks to its flexible whip design that is resistant to breakage. Whether you want to mount it on a vehicle or a structure, it offers versatility and reliability.

The whip is made of stainless steel and has a mounting hole size of 19 mm. The antenna is capable of radiating power equally in all directions perpendicular to its axis. It also features a stainless steel shock spring for added durability.

In terms of its field orientation, the antenna’s electric field is vertical, while the magnetic field is horizontal. If you ever need replacement parts such as springs, bases, or whips, they are available upon request.

Lastly, it is essential to note that when the antenna is mounted on a vehicle, it is recommended to remove it before using equipment like automatic car washes to prevent any potential damage to the antenna.
