The ZARA® VHF Mid-Band Antenna is a quarter-wave mobile antenna designed for external vehicle body mounting. It tunes to frequencies between 54 MHz and 174 MHz. Regardless of the base mounting angle, the whip mounts upright.

The default package includes a 4 m RG-58 coaxial cable, though other lengths are available upon request.

Note: You need to order a coax connector separately, as it does not come with the antenna.

The ZARA® 60 Mobile Antenna boasts specifications including a VSWR of < 1.5:1 across a bandwidth of 500 kHz to 9 MHz, a nominal gain of 0 dBq (relative to a quarter wavelength radiator), and a 100 W rated power.

It also withstands wind velocities up to 220 km/h. Designed for flexibility, the whip resists breaking and is suitable for mounting on both vehicles and structures.

The whip, constructed from stainless steel, includes a 19 mm mounting hole. The antenna efficiently radiates power equally in all directions perpendicular to its axis and features a stainless steel shock spring.

The antenna generates a vertical electric field and a horizontal magnetic field. Replacement springs, bases, and whips are available upon request. To prevent antenna damage, removing the antenna from the vehicle before using automatic car wash equipment is advisable.
